Alpha Carb Enterprises, Inc.

In 1974, Louis Leibert founded a small carbide precision grinding company named Kiski Tool and Die. The new company quickly outgrew the small facility along route 356. A new two story structure was added adjacent to the plant.

Our services expanded to include precision machining, conventional EDM, as well as wire EDM, and our name changed to Alpha Carb Enterprises, Inc. We added an engineering staff and began designing and trying out progressive dies.

The 90’s saw another expansion adding more stamping presses to accommodate bigger dies and pre-production stampings. The first building was erected in the new Westmoreland Industrial Park. Within the next 5 years, two additions were made to this main building. A second building was erected a few years later giving us more than 45,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
